40 players on 7 teams in for the good times last week! We even had some visitors from faraway lands, like Denton, MD! To talk to them about the drive, you'd think they went the wrong way and circled the globe to get there! Reminds me of the dumb hunters I ran into in Pennsylvania one time. One of 'em fell asleep in the tree stand, dropped his rifle, it went off and killed a 22 point buck! The climbed down and decided to drag the buck down the mountain to their truck. They were struggling something fierce when I came upon them. I looked at the situation and as I strolled by said, "Ya know, fellas, it might go easier of you pull him by the rack instead of his hind legs." They looked at each other and gave it a try. It was noticeably easier without the antlers grabbing everything and digging into the dirt as they pulled. But after an hour, one of 'em said to the other, "This is a much easier way to drag the deer,... but aren't we getting farther away from the truck?"
Our teams in order of sign-up: The Winos, Club Sandwich, The Other Team, Dream Team, Don't Call Us Old, The Loud House, and Bestie Summer.
By the end of the 1st half, The Loud House were loud and clear in being on top! Meanwhile, a rare occurrence and yet the second time this week for this host, there was a three-way tie for 2nd place! The Winos, Dream Team, and Bestie Summer (their highest halftime score ever!) were all knotted together 2 points behind the leaders.

As we casually strolled toward the final question, all h-e-double hockey sticks had broken loose! The Winos were now on top, Don't Call Us Old were in 2nd and Club Sandwich were in 3rd!
